The vineyard is situated in the Steenboksvlakte area in McGregor. The soil is a deep sandy alluvium soil.

Grapes were harvested late morning. Higher sugar levels were used for this production to ensure enhanced guava flavors. Only free run juice was selected. The juice had no skin contact, to ensure that it is fresh with no over-ripe characters. The juice was fermented at an average temperature of 15 – 16 degrees to ensure dominant flavours of guava.
This is a lovely crisp wine, with the perfect balance of tartness. Beautiful hints of guava, accompanied by notes of tart apple, sweet melon and peach with a bitter almond to finish.
